This area in NE Michigan supports the
largest areas of undeveloped land
in the entire Lower Penninsula. Choice trails
for ORV's & Snow Mobiles on hundreds of acres of state lands. Our hiking
paths allow hours of easy-going natural viewing with plenty of elbow room.
Our woodlands offer an abundance of
it's natural 'candy' like blueberries, morel mushroom, raspberries and
blackberries. All that natural 'yum' within thriving woodlands, that
makes this wonderful habitat for a large variety of wildlife like elk,
deer, black bear, cougar, bobcat, wild turkey, partridge, bald eagle, pileated
wood peckers and so much more!
Spring, summer, fall or winter,,,,
