Up in the sky, flies an old eagle
over the mountain to the valley below.
Where did he come from?
Where is he going?
Those are the answers, God only knows.
Up on that mountain, I met an old man
We walked by the moonlight, by the fire
we sat.
He told me of his life, some 90 odd years.
Then he asked me a question, his eyes
fighting tears.
"What would you do, if you found out your
dying?"
"Who would you run to and what would you
say?"
"Would you tell them your scared?
Or tell them you're happy?
Listen to what I tell you, listen to what
I say
Life your life like there is no tomorrow
You live your life to the fullest I say
Don't cheat on love, don't steal from
your neighbor
Learn to fear God, you just might meet
Him some day
I woke up the next morning, the old man
was gone
I packed up my things and headed towards
town
'Forget his name
'Forget his face
But in the whispering of the wind I can
still hear him say to me,
Live your life like there is no tomorrow
You live your life to the fullest I say
Don't cheat on love and don't steal from
your neighbor
Learn to fear God 'cause
ya never know,,,,
ya never know,,,,,,
You just might meet Him - today.
